Dried Oranges Step by Step

You Will Need

  • Oranges (or any citrus fruit)

  • Knife

  • Parchment Paper

  • Baking Sheet

  • Oven

Drying oranges is very simple process, you want to start off by slicing your oranges around 1/4″ -1/8″ thick. Take your oranges slices and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake the orange slices for 2 hours on one side, then flip them and bake for another 2 hours at 200 F. Make sure to check on the oranges every-so-often to make sure they don't burn. After baking let the orange slices cool down and you are done!

Dried Orange Garland

These dried orange garlands will add a pop of color to your Christmas tree, mantel, or even an entryway!

You Will Need

  • Dried Orange Slices
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Wooden Beads

This DIY is very simple! You will want to string the oranges together by poking the string through the middle part of the slices. You can alternate oranges slices with wooden beads or just leave it plain and simple. You can make the garland however long according to your needs and lastly tie the ends of the twine with a knot and you are done!

You Will Need

  • Dried Orange Slices
  • 8 Evergreen boughs
  • Meta Wire

  • Ribbon

You want to start off by making the base of the wreath. Take the evergreen boughs and cut them in 12in lengths. Attach the boughs together with metal wire forming a circle.

Once the wreath base is finished we can start decorating with the dried oranges and decorative extras. To add the dried oranges you will want to thread them though the wire and attach to the wreath base as you like. Do the same with the other decorative pieces.

Finish off the wreath with a ribbon on the top so you are able to hang the heart on a door.
